1. Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Viewing Standings

1. Click Standings in the navigation (under PLAY section).
2. You see the competition league table for your team's grade.
3. Each row shows:

• Position
• Team name
• Matches played
• Wins, Losses, Draws (or cricket equivalents)
• Points total
• Goals for / goals against (football), or runs differential (cricket)

4. Use the season filter to view standings from previous seasons.

Viewing Your Club's Position

1. Your club's row is highlighted in the standings table.
2. Check your position number (1st = top of the league).
3. Hover or tap your team's row for more details (if available).

Participating in Fantasy League

1. Click Fantasy League in the navigation (under PLAY section).
2. If it's the start of a new gameweek, you'll see the pick page:

• Browse available players from your real club's roster
• Each player has a point value and position
• Build your fantasy team within the points/budget cap

3. Confirm your picks before the gameweek deadline.
4. During the gameweek: real match results generate fantasy points for your players.
5. After the gameweek closes: check the Leaderboard to see your ranking.

Viewing Fantasy Leaderboard

1. Go to Fantasy League → click Leaderboard tab.
2. You'll see all participants ranked by total points.
3. Each gameweek's points are cumulative — your rank reflects the whole season.

Fantasy Admin — Setting Up a Gameweek (Admins/Coaches Only)

1. Go to Fantasy Admin (visible only to Club Admin, Coaches, or designated Fantasy Admin).
2. Click Create Gameweek.
3. Set:

• Gameweek name (e.g., "Round 5")
• Start and end dates
• Applicable fixtures (which real matches count for points)

4. Click Publish — members can now make their picks.
5. After the gameweek:

• Go to Points Review
• Enter or verify points scored by each player based on real match results
• Click Finalise Gameweek — points are locked and leaderboard updates

Standings: Your club's league table — how you're placed in your competition. Higher rank = better performance. Updated after each game.

Fantasy League: A prediction/performance game where you pick real players from your club and score points based on how those players actually perform in matches. The member with the most points at the end of the season wins.

Think of Fantasy League as a mini game layered on top of your real season — it makes watching each game even more engaging.

Standings

Data source: Standings are calculated from fixture results entered by admins post-match. The calculation follows standard competition rules:

• Win = 3 points (football), 4 runs points (cricket), etc.
• Draw = 1 point (sport-specific)

• Sport-agnostic point weighting is configured per competition in Admin Panel.

Season filter: Standings are scoped to the active season by default. The season filter allows historical comparisons.

External standings: For clubs in competitions with an external standings source (e.g., your league platform), standings may be imported rather than calculated locally. Check with your admin if standings seem out of sync.

Fantasy League

Point scoring system: Each sport has a different scoring matrix. Common examples:

• Football/Soccer: Goal scored (4pts), Assist (3pts), Clean sheet (4pts for GK/Def), Yellow card (-1pt), Red card (-3pts)
• Cricket: Wicket (6pts), Run scored (1pt per 10 runs), Catch (2pts), Duck (-2pts)
• Rugby: Try (4pts), Conversion (2pts), Tackle (1pt per 5 tackles)

The exact matrix is configured by the Platform Admin (platform-level) per sport type.

Budget cap / points cap: Fantasy teams are limited either by a budget (players have price tags) or a points cap. You must stay under the cap when making picks.

Transfer rules: Depending on configuration, you may be able to change picks each gameweek, or you may be locked to your initial pick for the season. Check with your admin.

Multi-club fantasy: If the platform's Platform Admin has enabled it, Fantasy League can span multiple clubs in an association — drawing from all registered players across the competition.

Q: I missed the Fantasy League deadline — can I still make picks? A: No — picks are locked at the deadline. You'll need to wait until the next gameweek opens. Your previous team carries over by default.

Q: How do I know how many points each player is worth? A: Player point values are shown on the picks page. The underlying scoring matrix is sport-specific. Ask your admin or Fantasy League coordinator for the full breakdown.

Q: The Fantasy League isn't showing in my navigation. A: Either the module is disabled, or no gameweek has been created yet. Contact your Club Admin or Fantasy League coordinator.

• A Fantasy League runs for the duration of the active season.

Making good picks:

• High-value players score more points but use more of your cap.
• Consider player availability — pick players who are consistently selected and RSVPed for fixtures.
• Injured players earn zero points — avoid them.
• Balance your team across positions — don't concentrate all cap value in one position.

Admin responsibilities for Fantasy League: Fantasy League requires active management from a coordinator (typically Coach or Club Admin):

1. Create gameweeks at the start of the season with correct dates.

3. After each round: enter player performance data in Points Review.
4. Finalise each gameweek promptly to unlock the leaderboard.
